Miller Beach Modern

The design for a 2nd story addition takes advantage of expansive views of Lake Michigan and the dunes shoreline. The 3 bedroom addition cantilevers over the existing brick home, setting the addition apart in both massing and materiality. A new 1st floor screen porch addition serves as a sundeck for the master suite, accessed through large sliding doors.

The existing home was also renovated, including a new kitchen, the removal of interior partitions for a more expansive open plan, and updates to the existing bathrooms.
